The Proposal to Increase the Sales of Ice Cream Desserts on the Market in the Czech Republic

This master thesis deals with the proposal to increase sales of single portion ice cream desserts of the company ABC Ltd. on the market in the Czech Republic. First of all, this thesis treats with analyse of various activities of the company and their evaluation with the aid of analytical methods. Second of all, problematic parts are selected and there are proposals submitted for their solution in the proposal chapter. As result of this master thesis is evaluation of benefits of proposed solutions for the year 2016 and their comparison with expenses and overall recommendation.

The Master’s thesis “Proposal of Communication Mix in Company with Production of Elevators” deals with the analysis of current situation of the corporation Zitta výtahy s.r.o., its environment where the company is located and construes the factors affecting the acquisition of customers. On the basis of the analysis and evaluation of the current state of the company is proposing a new communication mix, whose main target should be to increase awareness of the brand and quality services and thereby contribute to increase selling of the lifts.

Knowledge discovery from databases is a complex issue involving integration, data preparation, data mining using machine learning methods and visualization of results. The thesis deals with the whole process of knowledge discovery, especially with the issue of data warehousing, where it offers the design and implementation of a specific data warehouse for the company ROI Hunter, a.s. In the field of data mining, the work focuses on the classification and forecasting of the advertising data available from the prepared data warehouse and, in particular, on the decision tree classification. When predicting the development of new ads, emphasis is put on the rationale for the prediction as well as the proposal to adjust the ad settings so that the prediction ends positively and, with a certain likelihood, the ads actually get better results.

The bachelor thesis on "Strategies of putting a new product on the pharmaceutical market" presents a realistic scenario that will later be used by a particular company for launching a new product. The thesis is specific in that it deals with the pharmaceutical market, which is one of the heavily regulated markets with respect to both the products and the marketing. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical basis for determining the appropriate procedure for the entry of a new product on the market taking into account the specificities of the sector. The second part is an analysis of the environment in relation to the selection of an appropriate strategy. The last part describes the practical application of the process and an evaluation of proposals.
